The MPS Young Pharmacist Chapter is a proud member of the Young Professionals Alliance (YPA). Join us today to find out more!
The YPA consists of young professionals from the various professional institutions in Malaysia, the main institutions being the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society Young Pharmacist Chapter (MPS-YPC), The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia Graduates & Students – Young Engineer Section (IEM G&S-YES), Young KL Bar and Chartered Secretaries Malaysia (MAICSA). The aims of the alliance are to foster closer ties among the professionals, enhance knowledge-sharing among its members and pool resources in serving the community at large.
The YPA was launched on 17th November 2007 by the then Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai during the first Young Professional’s Night at the Si Khiong Star Mercedes Benz showroom, Jalan Sultan Ismail. In fact, the Alliance was nothing more than a label to what was already an ongoing relationship between the abovementioned institutions. The institutions had organised many joint events in the name of charity, professional development and networking, hence the YPA seems a natural progression to give credence to what they do.
